Riggle Me That operates as a Non-Profit of excellence that focuses on fostering creativity through community and collaboration. Help us continue our mission of providing tangible opportunities, funding, education, resources, and advocacy to established and aspiring artists of all ages!

Riggle Me That (RMT) is an arts advocacy organization based in the Denver metro area of Colorado- founded by husband-and-wife team Toby and Shayla Riggle. They are a production team that creates content for film, television, theater, gaming, and immersive digital spaces. The couple met in September 2014 on stage performing Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night's Dream” in Hollywood, CA. There was an instant connection, and they were married in March 2019.

Together, Toby and Shayla started Riggle Me That Production in June 2021. With 25 years of experience in entertainment and Non-Profit management, the Riggles want to use their talent and passion to serve their community.

 

RMT has successfully facilitated programs for individuals, educational institutions, and organizations. Our programs are not only a creative outlet, but also a resource for mental health.

 

The Classical Theater Program

Our Classical Theater Program is a performance-based program that focuses on acting techniques, body and voice control, text analysis, and character development. We introduce exercises and processes that increase body awareness and emotional flexibility. Our program is available for kids ages 8 to 17.

 

Riggle Me That has a very special partnership with Rocky Mountain Christian Academy (RMCA.) We have the privilege of working with their students in between 4th and 8th grade. Last year RMT assisted with three shows: Treasure Island, Prince and the Pauper, and Comedy of Errors. Next year we are excited to present Much Ado About Nothing and Hamlet.

 

BIPOC Indie Production Initiative:

Riggle Me That Production’s BIPOC Indie Production Initiative creates a support system to filmmakers who are facing the most barriers to opportunity. We strive to amplify the voices of BIPOC independent filmmakers and crew members by providing resources that minimize the negative challenges that BIPOC artists face due to historically inequitable structures.

 

This initiative has two parts: One - Our organization secures private funds from generous individuals, corporations, and foundations to support independent artistic projects. Two - Unions in Hollywood have created rules and requirements that have systematically kept artists of color out.

 

So, RMT requires all projects funded by our initiative to assist with unionizing below the line crew members of color. Our professional film and television projects will have sets that are 80% BIPOC cast, and crew combined.
